[NSRCA-discussion] Lipo - Repair/replace balance tap? Or repin?

I smoked a balance port doing something I shouldn’t. I replaced the single charred pin, but it was still loose. It would stop the charger, but the connector housing was still intact, so I kept it going, until like Randy said, the battery itself gave out. Probably ~50 cycles or so.

I am going to replace one of the 5S battery taps, because I think there is an intermittent connection. My plan is to do a simple cut-off and solder an entire new lead. I was not planning to "repin" the balance tap itself.
