I replaced the single charred pin, but it was still loose. It would stop the charger, but the connector housing was still intact, so I kept it going, until like Randy said, the battery itself gave out. <div>Got a question. How often are you required to replace a balance tap due to a damaged slot or pin? I am going to replace one of the 5S battery taps, because I think there is an intermittent connection. My plan is to do a simple cut-off and solder an
entire new lead. I was not planning to "repin" the balance tap itself. </div>
