Works for me.. One season will tell us what the interest level really is and
if there are things that need tom be tweaked what they are.

Ray,

We could, but I want to go with what we have for now. I just read what Chip
is doing at his Bakersfield contest this year in Classic. Here it is:

1)Pre-Novice 1980-81 Rule Book (Any AMA Legal Airplane/Engine/Motor Allowed)
2)Advanced 1980-81 Rule Book (Any AMA Legal Pattern Plane/Engine/Motor
Allowed)

1982-83 AMA Rule Book will be used
3) 30K-10 Maneuvers PLUS Take-Off and Landing (1985 or older Design
w/Electric or Glow)
4) 42K -12 Maneuvers Take-off and Landing do not get scored (1985 or older
Design Preferably Glow 2 cycle)

For his first two classes, he is saying "any" plane goes (pattern plane for
Advanced). For upper classes he is only using 1985 or older.

I think we are good to go with what we have and can easily adjust it after
the first contest or two.

Again my nickel 's worth. I like the .40 to .60 size definition, but we
could have a max wingspan to eliminate electric comparison.
