My dad had the Ford Flex and honestly that vehicle is a great choice to
haul pattern models. If I remembered correctly it wasn't that much smaller
square footage wise inside compared to the suburban. 2 pattern planes would
fit in comfortably.

Hello pattern pilots,

After 196k miles my Sienna is worn out and after 18+ years of driving mini
vans I am done with those too. Contests are rarely big travel weekends any
more and I never bring more than one plane so the reduction in space
shouldn't be an issue. Now looking at a Ford Flex or Volvo V60. Does
anyone have any experience with either of these or a similar alternative?
Thanks,
Anthony
