[NSRCA-discussion] Lipo - Repair/replace balance tap? Or repin?

Gents,

Got a question.  How often are you required to replace a balance tap due to
a damaged slot or pin?  I am going to replace one of the 5S battery taps,
because I think there is an intermittent connection.  My plan is to do a
simple cut-off and solder an entire new lead.  I was not planning to
"repin" the balance tap itself.

Any pros/cons or advice?  I haven't been paying attention over the years if
this was discussed before?
