Agree! Every time you read that someone is looking for a canopy for so and so airplane, it probably means they ejected a battery and either can’t find the canopy or it was too badly damaged. If they didn’t have a small receiver battery then they would be looking for a whole new airplane.

Tim, You absolutely have to have a backup for any number of reasons. You could eject the battery doing a snaproll, the ESC could disarm due to a faulty solder job on the Deans, the ESC could catch on fire or the HK battery wiring could fail. This all happened to me, I mean a friend, not to me. :)
