The double stall turn has to have the pull for the first 1/4 loop begin at center. That way the 1/2 loop with the same radius is also centered.

I also believe that the Aresti is correct the way it is drawn.

Mark that the way I read it, but upon looking at it on line at the site I question it. I notice the error also the 3/4 show on the down line of the first vertical line which is reverse, should be 3/4 up and 1/4 on the down of both vertical.

I strongly disagree. Pulling past center would either mismatch the radii or have a flat spot in the middle. The pull must start on center.

It can only be a centered double stall turn if you pull past center. The center of the 1/2 loop that connects the two up lines is the actual center of the maneuver. The Aresti is correct but the description needs to be changed.

Question advanced maneuver 1
On the proposed description it said.
From up right st center pull 1/4 loop to vertical.
But in call sheet and area to it now been call a double stall and seem to be you pull vertical pass center.
Which way is the correct way to fly it

All the new sequences are available on the NSRCA website – call sheets, aresti and Powerpoints. I’m still waiting for the maneuver descriptions and downgrades and as soon as I get those I will publish them.
