Even if it does zero that flight he would drop only to 14th, just above Brett. Still an extremely impressive result for this young man.  1st place team position is also much more firmly cemented as all 4 of our guys are in the top 15, while Japan's Akiba has dropped to 22nd.
Diesel Don has a lot to be proud of!

He’s in 11 positon now the score board still doesn’t show the flight has zero, I hope he’s ok, a hell of a ride.

IF the information is true, he only failed by 2 grams.  FAI is 5000 plus 50 for inconsistencies.  My understanding is he was spot checked and failed with the particular batteries that were chosen for the flight.  This is one time I hope that my information is just dead wrong.

How can he fail to make weight, wasn't he weighed before, what did he add to the plane to give it 52g

Houston, looks like we have a problem.  Joseph put in some decent flights today but I've heard that he failed weight on Site 1 at 5052 g.  If that's true, his flight will be disqualified and probably knock him out of the top 10 as that was his better flight.
Joseph has worked his butt off.  What a crappy way to not make it.

Either way, he has done and will continue to do a great job!  He has impressed me the most and has come so very far in a short time.  Don, please tell the boy we are all very proud!
