[NSRCA-discussion] Looking for a pattern plane

I don't claim to be an electronic expert, so all my comments have been from a "users" viewpoint as an aeronautical engineer, seeing effect and trying to determine the cause.

The most telling comment I have read was from Mark Atwood, regarding this switch/regulator being a clone of the Powerbox Sensor, which does have two regulators.

I think I'll go pack my switch/regulator in dry ice to make the DIPs happy again.

Maybe Ron just sent the wrong link, because no where in the product description or specs provided does it say that it is a dual regulator. That is, after all, the information that we have to go by from his original post. This description implies a switching circuit at the input side to the regulator is employed. If I was looking for a dual redundant regulator, I would expect the description to say that somewhere. Or it could be inaccurate since details sometimes get lost in product information when the writer isn’t as familiar with the English language as we might otherwise expect.
