Hi Guys-long time for me to speak!

Yeah-apparently ‘headquarters’ are down the coast, not too far from me. Some lawyer (or whatever!) owns it??

I think HK was started because really, for many, many years we have been screwed over by the big distributors down here. They still exert as much control as they can over the local industry, but as everywhere, the internet has made them re-evaluate their business models. From the hobby point of view alone, I must say what a pleasure it has been for example, for our dollar to be worth more than the US dollar! For the first time, we are able to enjoy the pricing you guys have for so long taken for granted. It has been a 40 -50% price drop for us!!

On another note/angle however, I wonder how long it will be sustainable to keep shipping these ‘jobs’ offshore-eventually, you won’t be able to find anyone capable of doing anything, anywhere, other than shuffling paper?

I’m sure you guys in the US of A are also familiar with this problem.

Regards-hope to be flying again soon!

Tom

Seeing as how the ownership and management is based in Australia, it does seem a little odd....

Well, it sure has been fun watching all the email fly,...get lost in product information when the writer isn’t as familiar with the English language as we might otherwise expect.
