Allan,

Just set values in the flap system to 0.  flap switch doesn't affect it anymore.
I use spoileron for landing, so landing position has 13% up.  all others 0.  So far so good.

11X doesn't?  I am thinking about 11X instead of DX18.

bettery take a look at the manuals again.

I neglected to add that if you don't want flaperons with dual ailerons, the best way is to inhibit the Flap channel in the DeviceSEL, use the Normal wing type and dual/mate the Flap or another inhibited channel to the aileron channel.

If you use the Flaperon wing type but don't want flaperons, then go immediately to the FLAP SYS. menu in the Function List and zero out the default flap values. When the Flap Sw isn't in position 1, both ailerons will be either up or down if the menu isn't changed. Some people have instead inhibited the Flap channel in the DeviceSEL and used the Flaperon wing type. This will work on the 9303 and 12X but not on the 11X. IMO this is poor programming.
