There's no need. Unless they've been removed from the software there is
another type of roll arrow with a doubled 'head' on it. In IAC this denotes
a super-slow roll, but could be adapted for pattern use. It may not be in
the catalog anymore. Check the glider symbology. It might still be there.

We can make a diagram or maneuver look however you want it.  It's not super
easy but it can be done.  The software allows us to design our own maneuver
or use templates.  There are some other experts out there that are better
than I am with the Aresti software.  What you ask for can be done however.

roll with an "S" where the "4" would be for a four point? Of course we would
get some folks doing five point rolls and wondering what the zero  was for.

The rest of the sequence is well defined in the Aresti diagram without the
written description. Its always been this way. Does it need to continue? If
so I submit and will continue to reference both. Not a problem. Just

There is no "slow roll" in IAC. The roll rate is not specified but is
usually about 1-2 sec/360 deg. Slower rolls use up too much box and you're
usually struggling  to stay in the box. Varying roll rate and heading and
pitch changes are the usual downgrades.

In the case of this unknown, Scott McHarg designed the pattern for us and
provided scoresheets as well as the Aresti. The scoresheet identified that
roll on a horizontal line as a slow roll.
I don't know any other way.  Aresti for Sportsman and Advanced shows the
same roll but the descriptions differ.

I got impatient waiting fore the November K-Factor and began reading the
E-version.

Following the "Rocky Mountain Fall pattern Challenge Unknown Sequence"
Aresti diagram #7 I assume is a slow roll but the roll symbol is the same
for an aileron roll. I don't know that IAC flies two different roll
rates.
Is there any way to identify these two different rolls in the diagrams we
use?
