Mike,
I read that there is some uncertainty if there is indeed a burr inside? If there is...a tricky one indeed, as you would have to somehow get inside the cam chamber to remove it....hmmmmm. Is it the intake lifter or exhaust?
Have you checked that the correct lifter is in the correct bore? Dumb question I know, but you don't want to run lifters swapped.
No real answer for you yet-sorry!

While assembling a YS160, I found a lifter would not seat properly. Right at the edge where the lifter bore meets the crank bore there must be a little burr. How can I get this cleaned up yet still maintain the tight tolerance in the bore for the lifter?
