Agree 100% with Mark. Since we got out of sync, certification has become a PITA. Please, let's make it a NSRCA priority.
While certification can be looked on as a necessary evil, it serves a real purpose for getting everyone back more or less in synch on judging. It's a good place to discuss the finer points, if you can avoid the two words that begin with "s" and shall go nameless here!

Derek,
Has there been any discussion around getting the AMA schedulesand the FAI schedule onto the same cycle? This would help tremendously withJudging certification. Assuming that we can’t really impact the FAI 2 yearcycle, it would mean either keeping these new AMA schedules for 3 years, orintroducing new schedules again in 2012.
Personally these seem like great schedules, but I realize that 3years is a long time to keep one sequence. Any thoughts? Maybe look tochange Masters again in a year but keep the rest? Just thinking out loud.

Everyone,
The NSRCA board has approved the proposed sequences forSportsman, Intermediate and Advanced for 2011 (and beyond). The NSRCAboard also approved the short Masters sequence for use in 2011/2012. Ilook forward to a great 2011 flying season with these new sequences.
In addition, the board also approved the sequencedevelopment guide - the revised version will be posted on the website thisevening along with the new sequences for 2011.
Thanks for everyone's patience on this... since this is ourfirst time going through this process, we really wanted to make sure we got itright so that we could meet our goal of approving new sequences in future yearsby October 1st prior to the year of actually using them.
-Derek
