First Don, along with everyone else, thanks for posting the link to the P-51 story.
  It's excellent!
Second, +1 on Jerry's enthusiasm for "One Six Right"!
Mike Dorna put me on to the DVD. The photography is breathtaking!
Jerry, I get emotional too when I view it. Especially the scene when the hangar door
is pushed open in the bright early morning sunlight to reveal a pristine Cub.
People that know me know why.
  :)
There is a second DVD, "One Six Left", that tells the story of how and why "Right" was made.
If you get the chance rent them both from Netflix or better yet buy at least "Right" from the EAA
  webstore.

  Bill,

If you liked that one you're going to love One Six Right (I have the DVD, it's from the same producer):

I have never seen a video that has ever been as inspirational as that one. It's one to watch over and over and you can absolutely believe that my children will see it. Thanks for sharing that.

Thanks so very much for bringing this to my attention. I was a child when The War was on, my Dad was an engineer with North American Aviation Inglewood, and my sister worked on the flight line scheduling office. I got to meet Bob Chilton, who was N.A.A.'s chief experimental test pilot (I've never forgotten that--never will) as well as other luminaries of our war effort. What an experience for a 10 year old who breathed aviation.
When I finished this documentary, I felt as if I had just left Church.

      Thanks again.

Not RC related at all but...... For those of you that love P-51s or the WWII era planes, check out this video about the P-51 and our aging Aces from WWII. Very well done. About 20 minutes long, not a quick video.

        Don
