Been using Ron's setup forever, though I use aluminum tubing w/ no barbs and
it's been fine.  VERY simple, Very maintable - allows a 'pinch' test of the
needle setting  - very good for peace of mind.

Downside: It isn't pretty - there's a <gasp> exposed fuel line outside the
fuselage.... !
