I wish I were immune. I was just looking at Dirty Birdy kits online. We just have different "era's" to call vintage.

Hey Mark

Nostalgia is a well known disease of old age - no help needed! How about my Jim Walker Firebaby (circa '49), or Veco Smoothie, or DeBolt LiveWire Senior (both mid '50's)?

Anyone that has a good clinical recommendation might want to pass it along to both Earl and Tony. They clearly need professional help...

You're right, Earl! I started with the Whirlybird 505, then the Shark, A Hughes then a Kavan Jet Ranger. I have kits for all of these and hope to get them flying again!

I flew the Hughes 300 / O&R in the '70's. No mixing, no collective, no gyro, no power - yet it looked like a heli and sure taught one to use the rudder thumb!

I have a .60 Shark I'm in the middle of rebuilding. Had one way back. I also have two NIB Hughes 300's with the O&R engine. Should be fun to put those together!

I had one of those, too. Engine never put out enough power, so I replaced it with the .60 conversion. I still have the remains of that copter :-)

I had a Dubro Shark helicopter in the early 1970's with an O&R Gasoline engine with a pull-start. It did look like a chainsaw engine.
