[NSRCA-discussion] 12X Failure

Bob I tend to agree.
Where can I get an adjustable non-peak detecting charger with a 110 - 120
vac input. I don't trust a peak detecting charger to fully charge / balance
the battery, even on a C/10 charge rate.

As far a nicad or nimh batteries go, nothing is better than a slow charge.
In fact, this is really the only way all the cells can safely be equalized.
IMHO. I may fast charge mine once in a while, but I don't like to do this
more than a couple of times before I go back to an overnight slow charge.

Think I will go back to a standard wall wart at a lower charge rate for
overnite charging. High capacity NiMh cells (anything over 1650 mah) do NOT
like to be overcharged.
