He's been Secretary of the NSRCA for at least a couple of years.

It's a position that takes a LOT of work.

So I, for one, would answer your question strongly in the
affirmative.

That said, I prefer an open list myself.  I understand that
it is something about which reasonable people may reasonably
disagree.  There are pros and cons both ways.

Eventually, we may have some members-only forums, just as only
members can download the K-Factor.  We're not in a position
right now to sift registrants on nsrca.us by whether they're
paid up, but we will have that capacity when the transition
is complete.
