Thrust to weight ratio is about 2 for many set-ups we fly in
2-meterdom. Accel should be terrific and it is.

Eagle tree does this same thing with their micro logger. I have played
with it a bit and its pretty amazing....you can see how straight you
roll down the runway LOL :)
Problem is with the wildly varying attitudes in pattern I routinely
loose the satellite link, so I think I will end up needing two sensors
mounted top and bottom of the fuse to make it work properly.
I think once its all setup it will be a useful tool for evaluating
geometry on things like a rolling circle which is not easy to see from
a pilots perspective.
The airspeed is rather revealing, the acceleration of these planes is
remarkable, easily rocketing to 190 kph in only a few seconds. Should
take it to the drag strip LOL :)
