Thanks for the advice. I always have a helper, so that should not be a problem. Mine is the OLD orange Pro Driver. The one with the on/off slider switch. I have had it for a VERY long time. Still works great. It does not even have the auto off feature. I would not want to try to live without it.

It's not the perfect solution, but I've been using an older (Orange) prodriver for years (obviously) with the YS's including the DZ's...all you need to do is start spinning the prop with your starter prior to hitting the button on the glow driver. You'll get the same soft start that you'll get with the delay. With a helper it's very easy, but even alone I haven't had a problem (Knock on wood)
