Well, I flew in this indoor pattern contest they had at Toledo, better know as
the "ETOC".? I put some thoughts comparing and contrasting to full size pattern
plane competition, and my usual detailed story book on the event.

And yes Joe and Tom... I've had my fun and now?my batteries are charged to get
the Brio out tomorrow...

I am trying to trace the route of a 4" PVC water pipe about 100 yards
from a well. The pipe is buried about 12" to 14" underground. I
think it goes fairly straight. I don't want to dig down to find the
pipe until I'm sure where it is, because the soil is VERY difficult
to dig in, due to lots of gravel and clay. Although I'm sure there
are instruments which will enable one to trace the route of the pipe,
I don't have a clue who to ask. Any help available out there?

Dowsing works for me as well. I have found natural gas lines 36 " deep and
water lines 9 feet deep.

Ron,

We used to use dowsing in the plumbing business with fairly good success
around septic tanks and leech lines. Take a coat hangar and straighten it
out. Bend it into an L shape about 6" by 12-14" . Hold the short end
loosely in your hand holding the long part parallel to the ground. Walk the
pipe line area, you will get the wire pointing parallel to the pipe when you
find it.

Good Luck,
Wayne G.
