Has anyone tried the 3"? The hub and centers are different and don't appear as robust. One field I fly at has super thick grass and I need all the height I can get.

I've been running MPI light wheels 2.5" EPW 250's
http://www.maxxprod.com/mpi/mpi-29.html
They have held up for a full season off of grass and pavment.
The secret to getting these to work is making modification to the hub. I put 1/4" nylon inserts (about 1" long) into the hubs as wide as the room in the pants will allow. I then use 1/4" washers on the overhanging inserts to keep them from rolling off to one end and getting off center. They are extremmly light and surprisingly durable. Hey guys
What are you using for skinny wheels that can fit into wheel pants like those supplied with the Integral?
How durable are they when flying off of grass?
Is it worth it or should I just change to standard size stuff?
Thanks
Colin
