1- Disagree. It would be bad for someone to spend the time and money to attend only to find out their event is cancelled. If the particular event has a history of less than 10 contestants, it could be argued that the event should be dropped. If, on the other hand, you are talking about making an official event "unofficial" if less than 10 people show up, then what have you accomplished?

2- I think I would disagree. If no events are being flown, there are probably a lot of contestants that would like to practice.

3- I agree in concept. I think we should do as much as possible to make the NATS pay for itself, but I don't think it should be cancelled if it does not break even.

  4- Yes.

  5- Yes.

6- Leave as is. I think a qualification system could be hard to administer and be fair.

7- Yes. I would not object to the stamp being more than $20.

st1\:*{behavior:url(#default#ieooui) } I have been assigned the job of Chairman of a Long-Range NATS Review Committee by AMA President Dave Brown. As a part of our committee discussion, I have some questions that I would like NATS attending competitors especially to answer for me. They are in the attached survey that I passed out at the District 3 Champs. I would like to get your input as well, if you so choose.

Please either print out and fill out and scan and send to me, or you can just e-mail me back with the answers to the question numbers. Either way is fine.

  Thanks for your time.
