Futaba was the YS distributor back when Futaba had an office in Irvine. When
Hobbico started distributing Futaba, Richard took over YS distribution.
Futaba is making the EFI control units for OS.

Color me silly but, when I think Futaba and engines I think YS. Didn't we
use to fly YS Futaba engines?

When I took a look the control module is the same as my OS 140 EFI that
unit was in concert with Futaba.

The left bottom adjustment is for the in-flight fuel mixture.

    Nice looking engine

It does say on the website that it was developed in "conjunction" with
Futaba. That looks like a smoking gun to me.

      I heard from a friend of my cousin's brother-in-law that O.S. licensed
the technology from YS. Actually the source was better than I originally
stated and probably knew what he was talking about.

The add says this thing is supercharged...crankcase pressure. Is
that correct? Maybe YS's patent expired.
