Color me silly but, when I think Futaba and engines I think YS. Didn't we use to fly YS Futaba engines?

It does say on the website that it was developed in "conjunction" with Futaba. That looks like a smoking gun to me.

I heard from a friend of my cousin's brother-in-law that O.S. licensed the technology from YS.  Actually the source was better than I originally stated and probably knew what he was talking about.
