[NSRCA-discussion] YS1.40FZ Prop Size for a Focus

Engine will not run. I even put some fuel in the plug hole and nada. The
engine is pumping fuel and I get it flowing from the NV 

Housing with the NV removed. New YS Plug and the fuel runs fine in my other
YS. When I pulled the plug expecting to find the engine flooded no fuel came
out the plug hole when spun by the starter. It'll pop and try to run once in
a great while. I've removed the pipe and header to ensure nothing there was
doing it. This thing ran one flight after coming back from YS. It went what
I thought was lean but come to find out it was rich at 2 turns out. YS zero
Broken Landing gear 1. :-(

Can you decribe the symptoms?  One issue I am aware of is a bad finish in
the bore of the pump regulator. The plunger gets stuck and too much fuel
gets pumped into the engine.

Because the 1.60 is headed back to YS service yet again. One short flight
after the last trip out there. I've never had problems with YS engines
before this one. Spent 2 hrs yesterday trying to get it to run.

I am changing the YS1.60 in my Focus to OFB's YS1.40FZ and was wondering if
anyone had an idea what the best prop was? Using CP 30% heli fuel.

 

 

BTW I got the landing gear as well.......  :-)
