Tony
My reply is.
The Nat's is an open event because that is what most fairly satisfies and
serves all members of both AMA, NSRCA and all the other Sig's. The Sig's run
the events but not all entries belong to a Sig. What qualifications would be
required for non Sig entries should pre qualification be required?

The Nat's last 6 weeks the events are run by the SIG's My question is does
AMA increase their staff for the Nat's, if so is that why they would like to
shorten the Nat's

I would think that the City of Muncie due to the economic benefits that they
receive from the Nat's and the Sig's due to a reduction in participants
would be the losers and for what? Isn't 46 weeks a year enough time for the
general membership to enjoy their investment in AMA Muncie

It would be interesting to know how many members use the facility excluding
the Nat's in a year and how many visitors visit the site in a year

I was of the impression that the AMA was a member service organization and
that many members belong specifically for the insurance But the Sig's are the
core of the organization even though a majority of members do not belong to a
Sig and couldn't care less if the Nat's were six weeks or six month's long.

Are the politics. Intent and mission of the AMA changing to a point where
those in power are plotting a new direction for AMA and if so what might that
direction be?
