And on mine, I get 15 min to 1/2hr more run time from the Sony. Not a claim
that they all have more capacity. I may just have a "good" Sony, and a
"not-quite-so-good" Futaba.

I have been using this battery
(Sony FP-570) for over a year with no problems at all.

Careful of the exact specs from the Sony website for the NP-570 Battery.
I'm not a battery wizard but the Futaba folks put a 7.4v proprietary battery
in the 14 mz not a 7.2v battery. I'm sure it is just splitting hairs but
maybe someone can tell us all why there is .2v difference in the 2
batteries. We all want to save money on our stuff but there is a saying of
"penny wise and pound foolish".
Just like putting cheap switches in our $2,000-$3000 birds. Does it make
since sometimes what we do.
Just a thought.
