I have been using this battery
(Sony FP-570) for over a year with no problems at all.

Subject: [NSRCA-discussion] 14 MZ Battery
Careful of the exact specs from the Sony website for the NP-570 Battery.
I'm not a battery wizard but the Futaba folks put a 7.4v proprietary
battery in the 14 mz not a 7.2v battery. I'm sure it is just splitting
hairs but maybe someone can tell us all why there is .2v difference in
the 2 batteries. We all want to save money on our stuff but there is a
saying of "penny wise and pound foolish".
Just like putting cheap switches in our $2,000-$3000 birds. Does it
make since sometimes what we do.
Just a thought.
