I agree with that.
   
  BTW, years ago our club was going through a noise situation, and that is when people really started to question their prop selections (general sport flying). It was real interesting when we gave a range of props to a guy and asked him to fly all the props back-to-back and pick the prop he liked the most. Then, he put on headphones playing music, and we changed the same selection of props on his plane in random order. He selected a different prop. The noise, particulary the rpm, gives a false sense of performance. However, at some point it is necessary to listen to the engine to make sure it is "happy". :-)
