It seemed to do fine with 'normal' pattern type inputs-so for me a little cf
here and there will cure most of that particular problem. My use for it
will be to try out stuff, possibly fly it off a ball diamond, and just to
fool around with. I really don't expect it to be perfect-just decent enough
to keep the rust off when I don't have time to make it to the field and will
make it through P07-or to get a couple quick flights in at the field when
time is short. I don't really have enough time with it to answer your
questions-but you might consider a dual pull-pull system to keep the weight
down. It flew fairly well with 2000s with any prop-the last one tried was a
10/7 and I'm going to try a 10/6 and down to see where a 1500 pack will
work. If you can keep it light and then fly it close in and fairly
slow-then the impression ought to be on the same scale as a 2M out
there-well, that's the theory anyway.... BTW, I don't think you'll find
too many guys in this hobby that would say they don't have a lot to learn.
Chat with your controller folks about servos and the BEC-that's all a
function of what they draw.

Richard ( or anyone else with info on the Brio 10)
Just started looking at it. I don't like the stock elevator setup. Could I
split the elevator halves with 2 servos. I don't like the stock instructions
to cut the fuse rear for installation of stab/elevator and I hope to
eliminate that step.

How is the weight with the 480 setup. I'm wondering if an extra servo on
elevator would balance out ok, not be too heavy overall, and not be too much
load on the BEC. After all with p-p rudder the extra hole is already in the
fuse for 2 elevator servos. Yeah I know it is intended as an optional rudder
servo location, just wondering could 5 servos work.

Thanks in advance for any input/advice
I've got a lot to learn.

Finally got a couple flights with a 480 outrunner (weather has sucked). I
think it'll be OK with some trimming and prop experimenting. But one
item-it screwed off on hard pulls and pushes. The elevator halve
connection/joiner could stand some reinforcement as it is driven from one
side and allows some flex that needs to be reduced or eliminated. Easier to
correct b/4 ass'y.
