[NSRCA-discussion] 2007 Advanced Schedule

Gosh, I really hate to dive in this but it comes down to this.  The step 
right now from Intermediate to Advanced right now is huge and from 
Advanced to Masters is not that large.  The current Advanced is a blast 
to fly but it requires a lot of new skills for the flyer coming from 
Intermediate and a lot of time to get it to look reasonable (no zeros). 
They wanted to balance out the gaps between the classes a little 
better.  The new Advanced lessens the gap between Intermediate and 
Advanced and makes the gap between Advanced to Masters larger.  Which 
way is best??  Don't know.  I do give them credit for trying to even 
things out some.  Also, I think that FAI and Masters are good for their 
input because they tend to have more experience and know what it will 
take to perform a sequence as far as skill sets.  They have also been 
there before and know what helped and didn't help build their skills as 
they moved through the classes.
    Everyone is making good points , but I don't see this sequence as 
being too easy or not a good precursor to Masters.
And I flew Intermediate in 2004 - Advanced in 2005 and fly Advanced /  
something that barely resembles Masters now.
