If you send doc 1 and doc 2 on one email to the list and then send the other

I still have the word documents for the four articles. They focus on
safety, tools, surface prep, and on using PPG concept, which is a two part,
single stage polyurethane paint. I can send them as attachements to those
that want them. I do like the Sata Minijet, and a Badger 150 airbrush, but
as others have mentioned the inexpensive chinese touch up gun will work just
fine. I purchased a Sata copy at my paint store for $80, and it performs
about as good as the Sata. Good lighting is far more important than an
expensive gun.
Do what it takes to not breathe in the paint fumes and overspray.

Dave Flynt practically wrote a doctoral thesis on painting and published it
in the K-Factor two - three years ago I believe. He wrote this while he was
painting an Alliance I asked him to do. I would research this article and
study it thoroughly.

I'd use the standard just because I don't have experience with HVLP.
I have a $25.00 import automotive touch-up gun and a high buck ($150-$200)
Binks touch up gun I use to spray airplanes. I can't tell the difference in
them. Buy one from Harbor Freight or similar outfits and use at 35-50 psi
(depending on material) with your compressor. I think the touch up guns are
easier to use than an airbrush you can get through a lot quicker.

I have a compressor. I do not have a spray gun yet. From my understanding
there are 2 types of guns "Standard and HPLV". Which is "better or easier"
to use?

The secret is in the paint. Concept is so good you can do a great job even
with a cheap external mix airbrush like the the one Harbor freight puts on
sale for less than $5. If you use one of those make sure you regulate the
air pressure to 20 pounds or less. Practice on old milk jugs and plastic
containers. The down side is that you will have to hurry with the airbrush
but the small paint container will help you keep the weight down. The paint
will weigh the same in the can as it does on the airplane.
Don't get the idea you can sand Concept off and do it again. Sanding Concept
is something to avoid!
