Hey Mike,
I had two electric Black Magic airplanes and now I am down to one. It flies great! Mike is very modest about his building abilities. The planes he builds are very impressive and his composite work is very good. If you have any interest in building one, I do not think you would be disappointed in any way. If you have any other questions about the plane, feel free to ask.
Emory.

34" is just right. I think the Temptation is around 29" and the Smaragd is close to 33". That's how I guage how wide the fuse is. Has anyone done the plane Electric yet? Thanks, Mike

6 3/4" wide, Almost 13" tall at the canopy, and if you wrap a tape measure around the canopy, the circumference is 34". It's not so large as to be a kite, but it rolls, point rolls and KEs EXTREMELY well. But due to the shape, it also penetrates the wind very well. Everyone who's flown it seems to like it a lot. I know I do =)

For those that are interested, the Black Magic site is undergoing some changes (finally!) I have an old friend doing some work on it, and so far I like the way it's coming out. Lot's more to come, but it's a great start from my hacked up old site =P
And BTW the carbon stuff is back in stock, and I don't forsee any shortages any time soon.
Enjoy and thanks,
-Mike
