Taking this down a completely different path, there was a study a year or so ago linking laptop usage to men who's wife's were having troubles conceiving a child. Seems the laptop was warming a couple of things that need to stay cool to remain functional.

I just was reading an article in a local paper and thought I would pass along some warnings that are going with lap top Li Ion batteries. It seems that with the added micro processor power of lap tops and all of the added components, it is stressing the Li Ion batteries which of course causes heat and then possibly flame. There have been several occurences of this on planes and in the home. It seems when they get hot people are then using a pillow to protect there legs and continue to use the computer. The next thing is a hissing and then flame. Maybe with this occuring to the general public it will encourage manufacturers to build in some safety features or a better shell design for the battery. This can only help the RC community with safety issues. JEZ
