[NSRCA-discussion] Lap top batteries

There are similar problems with cell phone batts. 

For example, Motorola OEM batts have an internal circuit that prevents 
this type of catastophic failure.  However the knock off replacement 
batts do not.  So the knock offs can spontaneuously combust whereas the 
original Motorola batteries wont.
