Thanks Karl-I can now tell my flying buddy-he was wrong!
However, ofcourse, the manoeuvre looks its best when exits and entry are the same and the lengths are equal. Personally, this is one of my pet-hate manoeuvres, you do not get long to set up for it after those spins, particularly if its windy and the spins have shifted you off-line. It is a real pain in the $$%^ to get it all back from there.

Your assumptions on the maneuver #19 in P-07 are correct.
As long as the rolls are centered on each line, the two lines
can be of different length.
