I agree with Anthony 100%. I am using one as a test in a small pattern
plane. There isn't any servo that compares to the Airtronics 94758
You have to get used to the speed of this servo for the couple of flights.
I am also using Futaba 9650 for 50/60 size planes.

Hi Ed,
The 8417 is the servo you are thinking of 82 oz of torque @ .10sec/60 deg.
My choice for the elevator or rudder for that matter is an Airtronics 94758.
115 oz .06sec/60 deg. on 6 volts not sure what voltage JR rates their
servos at.
