Ron, what about an officer that seeks an office and receives the community's
vote to represent them? Shouldn't this entrusted individual give up their
own personal interests when in direct conflict with the community that
elected them?
BTW, I'm not crazy about the fact that John Fuqua made the proposal because
I'm not sure a Chairman of the rules committee should be able to inject
rules of his own personal preference. While I can see it makes sense to some
degree, my concern is this gives him too much power (I believe all of his
proposals passed). However, give this is the system we're stuck with and
assuming he operated within the rules I don't feel betrayed by his actions
because his position was not a representative of the NSRCA. You were. This
is why some people are upset with you, they feel betrayed.
Ron, I'm not trying to be a jerk here and definitely not trying to pick a
fight, after all, I really don't even know you. I believe you've done a
great deal for the NSRCA and we owe you a great deal of gratitude for your
service.
Respectfully,
Keith Black
