I have a ground clearance problem also but with a Webra 160. Would this engine (mc carb) spin a 15x12 4 blade?

Thanks,

David

You might be surprised how well the APC 16x13 works - very good vertical and braking for the relatively high pitch - and yes, it will go fast with the hammer down. The 15x11 4 blade is also possible - but probably a little light on load.

With the ground clearance problem, you are probably need a 3 or 4 blade. Bob Pastorello is an expert.

Otherwise, the 1.45 wants to turn a 17x10 or 17x12. Any less diameter, and you would need the pitch so high, it would make the airplane too fast.

Need advice on prop for the 1.45 Webra. I have a definite ground clearance concern. A 17" just barely clears in a level attitude. TIA for any help.
