I think most would define "track" to be the vector that the Center of Gravity point follows...

I would like to see a definition of the track of the plane or model. If possible I would the definition to state what it is and not what is ain't. Normally you see track ain't the attitude as the definition of the track.
Also - In a no wind situation - would a smoke trail trace the track of the plane or model?
