That is because IMAC planes do not fly nearly as well meaning as cleanly as
pattern planes do. If I want to snap my IMAC plane I have to fly through the
snap by first inputting elevator then removing it and inputting rud and ail
and then decreasing the rud as the snap develops. None of that is necessary
with a pattern plane.

Would you fly your primary plane in the winter snow, rain and mud?
I plan on putting my primary plane (Focus 2) up for the winter after this
weekend (last in district contest of the year). I am re-covering my backup
(Focus1) and will probably fly it some over the winter, if I can get good
enough weather to get the trimming done. But also just got the plans for the
boxer60.
In talking to some FAI flyers, they pointed out a real personally benifit to
flying a scale aerobatic plane. Stated it forced them to work on
coordinating all four controls. Flame suit on.
