>From your short list, the only one that will take you successfullly into
advance is the Typhoon 2+2. The otheres will do well in the Sportsman
class, and will help you get started in the Intermediate, but at that
point you will be competing against all full blown pattern ships, and the
smaller ships are just at a tremendous disadvantage.
The one question I have had during this string, is What do you want to do
in the long run?
I think that you will start to get mny very different answers now that
you have introduced a truely competitive ship to the options.
If your wallet can stand the hit, and your flying abilities are up to the
challenge, bite the bullet and get at least a good 120 ship. That is if
you can not get into the 2 meter ships'
Since so many of us have moved to the larger planes, there seems to be a
lot of the "smaller" 120 planes available. Last year I had a low time
Elan available, RTF for just $1400. That included all servos and engine.
Add your RX and fly! There should be other offers similar to that now
available.
Good luck, and welcome to the challenge of Precision Aerobatics!!
