Hi, Dennis,
How are the TCRCM people? I miss D8 people.
Well, I also have the soft silicone insert from Kavan (purchased from
Central). It definitely sucks. tried gluing it to the starter without
success. It also stick too hard to our aluminum spinner. When you pull the
starter out after starting the engine, the soft cone stays on the spinner.
That's one reason I decided to try Miller's

Also try Hobby Lobby. Here is the link. They have the silicone insert.

David,
thank you for the E-mail with Miller's contact info.
I called today and ordered directly from them.
the correct part number is KSG-201. "K" stands for Kavan. Somehow, I
also got the incorrect part number as SG-201.
The guys at Miller are great.
Thank you again.

I bought mine from them at a trade show several years ago so I don't
really know what their part # is.
Apparently, Miller R/C does not have a web site but here is their info.
I guess the only way for sure is to call them.

I had recently ordered the SG201 stock number based on information in an
earlier discussion list E-mail. Mine is also too small and only has
three slits. Is there a different part number we should be looking for?

Ihncheol.....They must have put the wrong cone in the package as my
Miller has all 6 slots and is a tight push fit into the Kavan starter. I
would return it and ask them for the correct part for the Kavan.

Hi, All,
Well, I know everyone's busy for the Nat. Good luck to you all~~
Anyway, I just got a Miller starter cone SG201 (sky grip) to use on my
Kavan
starter.
Funny thing is that the blue cone is about 2.5mm smaller in diameter
with
only 3 slots. I can make the extra 3 slots, but what should I do with
the
smaller diameter.
How do you people use it?
Thanks,
Ihncheol Park
