Retracts V Fixed Gear

Richard, this a good topic, and worth some speculation.  I have a
retract-equipped Aries that I'll be flying this weekend, and you know I have
the Arresti, fixed gear.  I've come to rely on the extra visual clues from
stuff hangin' below the fuse, but the retract airplanes do look cleaner, and
less distractions....however, both fly very well.
    I guess the final answer is a "preference"....and your local conditions,
transport vehicle, etc.  For me, laziness rules, and I have a natural
preference for the fixed gear.
