I would agree with Nat.

Having a plane with positive incidence causes lift. When you have it flying 
in a knife edge it will be pulling or lifting towards the canopy. by reducing 
the amount of incidence it will reduce the tendency to pull towards the canopy. 
Their may be some other problems accrue from reducing the incidence and they 
my be worked out by a C. G.  change.
