Bill:

I am not sure that is true, because I have seen some e-mail traffic that said that Unlimited was already full for the 2005 NATS.....

  Ron:
In talking with Phil Vance, (IMAC Treasurer, used to fly pattern, lives near here, CD's pattern contests for the rest of us.) He mentioned that AMA had limited them to 70 contestants at the Nats', and that the applications were full months before their Nats'. Further, they had a waiting list.
I understand that the limitation on contestants has now been eliminated; so there will be no "artificial" numbers next time. We'll see how they do.

BTW, our goal is to improve and I think we've accomplished that with the 1st issue under the new publisher. It can only get better from here as we move forward and find out exactly what we can/cannot do within the constraints of our budget. I would still like to solicit input/articles from everyone if they have construction articles, how-to's, flying tips, judging tips, etc. Everyone benefits from this type of article... I used to love reading those articles in the "old" K-Factors of the mid 90's - articles from Verne K. and Bob Richards especially.

Let's see if we can pressure Don S. to write some articles... ;)

    Don Szczur, are you listening?

I'd also like to see an article by Tony Frackowiak on converting the Partner to a competitive electric-powered airplane.

BTW, I notice that Model Aviation has a monthly column on R/C scale aerobatics, but only a bimonthly column on
R/C aerobatics. However, after IMACs first big year at the Nats, their attendance numbers have been far below ours.

This has got to be the best K-Factor that I have seen since receiving them. Even the airplane on the front page looks good after I realized it was there.

Nice articles like should be in this type of mag. The clarity and neatness of the layout is exceptional.

      Hello All,

The December K-Factor is now on line. It is about 4.5 meg in size.

      Best,
