OS 160FX setup

I followed Bob's web page on setting up my OS 160 and am very pleased with
the results, it is working perfectly. I did have a problem throwing props
when the engine would lean out when the tank was almost empty but solved
that problem with a 2 oz hopper tank. I also found that I had to turn in the
low end needle quite a bit as the Perry pump does crate quite a bit of
pressure. But after these teething pains the Focus/OS 160 setup is pretty
much fill er' up and fly.

I agree, and Iron Bay will replace the diaphragm. Mine let me know when it
was time by FLOODING, and not letting me run the engine. So then, I
installed the spare that I carried, and IT's diaphragm had dried out, so it
wouldn't pump. Almost killed a motor trying to get that working.
It is a great hobby, where we have so many options....there are even guys
that make the YS's work reliably....amazing.
And somebody is actually using Airtronics radios, I hear....back in the "old
days", that was as bad as running JR, or Futaba, or ..... <VBG>
Whatever works for you is the system that is the choice....it's cool...<G>
