This is true, but why keep a record of a contestant's points if he is
not a member?

There really isn't any need for any CD to check NSRCA membership. It
falls upon the NSRCA District VP or his designated Championship points
assistant or whatever to check for NSRCA membership. And only when it is
time to tally and award.

How about an NSRCA sticker that can be placed on your AMA card instead
of an NSRCA membership card, Color can be changed each year to indicate
the year, then CD can check off those who are members in his report to
the District VP. Simple, No sticker and you are not given credit for
being an NSRCA member, same as AMA except with AMA no card and you don't
fly in a sanctioned contest.
